The Forum will analyze both the regional and European dimension, giving the possibility to improve the knowledge about EU Transport Policy and EU investments on transport and maritime sector, highlighting the importance of the cohesion between all the players of the logistics chain.

Circle was at the 14° Trans Middle East

foto linkedinCircle was, on 24 and 25 January, at the 14° Trans Middle East Tehran 2017.  One of the most important events regarding the Shipping industry for Ports, Terminals and Logistics in the Middle East Area.  Circle CEO, Luca Abatello, on 25th January had a speech titled Automation, integration and interoperability: Concrete opportunities of terminal optimisation and building International Fast Trade Lanes to the EU” within the Session 6  Technology and automation for ports – Improving trade growth, meeting demands and increasing throughput through innovations.  The event, in which Circle was with a dedicated Booth (n° 29),  was the opportunity to have a lot of contacts and drafts of agreements with companies of the industry field in the Middle East Area and to start collaborations according to the strategic path of internationalization that Circle is doing in these years.

Circle to Ship2Shore: from the positive results of 2016 to the prospects of 2017

logo circleCircle has supported some of the most important Italian logistic players along their way towards automation and digitization of procedures and information flows. In particular, with the projects “Rail Gate Automation” and “Railway Fast Corridor“, Circle contributes to maximize the efficiency of the operating procedures of the Padua Inland Terminal  and to the realization of  the complete digitization of the “Railway Fast Corridor”, from the port of La Spezia towards Padua Inland Terminal.  Circle has collaborated with Nola Inland Terminals, Central Tuscany Inland Terminal and Vespucci Inland Terminal, supporting them in the evolution of their operational customs and IT services. Projects with Noberasco and Snatt Logistica/Omlog are ongoing and also with important multinational companies that export their goods from four Italian ports.  (more…)

port techOn the Technical Paper by Port Technology there are 2 pages dedicated to Circle and speficically focused on the Full Digital Supply Chain for the optimization of the logistic chain.  “Technologically wise, the Internet of Things paradigm applied to the transport and logistics sector allows freight to be sensed and controlled remotely, with logistics operators able to automate and digitalise their operations.” … “ By digitalising procedures and using smart devices, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) components (tag, electronic seals, etcetera), companies may exploit supply chain visibility as a considerable competitive advantage because it gives a possibility to plan the strategic steps in an attempt to defy competitors.  (more…)

Circle will be at Trans Middle East Jeddah

trans middle eastCircle, as member of the company network Log@Sea, takes part to the 12th Edition of Trans Middle East that took place in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) on 26th and 27th of October. Circle was there with a dedicated booth, n°29, and the CEO Luca Abatello had a speech  titled Integration, interoperability and automation: Concrete opportunities of terminal optimization and building International Fast Trade Lanes (Session 5 -  Key elements in technology automations – Leveraging port operations, 26th October, at 5 p.m.).
